Partagas Padre (6.0" x 50)

I have had family in town and despite the fact I was smokin some cigars I didn't want to seem rude to run and write about it. I had the joy of smoking a Partagas Padre. It's  african cameroon wrapper with dominican and mexican filler was flawless with no soft spots. It was a hearty 6 inches and 50 ring gauge. pre-light draw was perfect and sweet. Upon lighting it erupted into a blissful symphony of wood and coffee with occasional earthy tones. It was a pleasantly consistent smoke that left a sweet taste on the lips after draw. The burn was mostly even with a touch-up or two from the torch. with a 6" long smoke it's not too uncommon to have to touch it up a bit. I picked mine up in the Cigars Internationals sizzler sampler no.8 which i do believe i have mentioned before. box price for these alone in padre size with tubes comes out to around 4 bucks a stick. Links to follow. i am in no way affiliated with any cigar company or distributor and I am not compensated for any information written to this blog.
this is the link to the box and the link below is to the sampler if you're not willing to commit to 20 or more of one type of cigar.

  1. I found the original line to be medium bodied with a naturally sweet and toasty tobacco flavor in this cigar.
